CWC Network Events 2025

Virtual and physical events are organised by CWC and its member organisations to better understand the perspectives and activities of Catholic women in the different continents, and to encourage them in their struggles and suffering.

The Catholic Women’s council joins the Women’s Ordination Conference in inviting all women and women's organisations represented in the network to participate in a global strike of Catholic women by withholding time, labour and financial resources from the Church during Lent 2025.

We believe the time is "ripe" to demand what is right, and so we are launching Catholic Women Strike, a global effort to disrupt the status quo. Instead of waiting for a papal “yes,” we issue forth our “no” to the systems of misogyny, sexism, and patriarchy that seek to stop the Holy Spirit
